To convert a PDF to Excel there are a lot of freemium type offerings, but ultimately I’ve found through trialing some, that it really depends on your specific use-case. So I would trial a few. I prefer a cloud based solution and one that will get Excel and/or .csv file downloads from the PDF. For this type scenario, I currently use docparser. This solution allows me to extract tabular and single point data from my pdf’s and preview the results, and ultimately download the converted file. So if you are trying to convert to .xcl for xTree, then I am not sure about that, never worked with xTree.
